Based on the close co-operation with the ESGE, ESGENA delegates participate in various ESGE committees:
ESGE Education Committee
The ESGE Education Committee is responsible for many and varied educational events and programs at congresses, workshops, and individual hospitals throughout the European Zone.
Strong links have been established with the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE). Representatives of ESGENA have participated in guideline working parties looking at issues of concern to both societies. Guidelines produced are published in the journal Endoscopy
The objectives are to promote environmental awareness and sustainability in GI endoscopy, with a focus on achieving net-zero status for ESGE, providing guidance, fostering research and education, and collaborating with industry and policymakers.
ESGENA representatives: Leigh Donnelly, United Kingdom & Anastasia Tsalouka, Greece
