Dear colleagues<\/p>\n

We are all facing the challenges of COVID-19. We know our duty to care for our patients, but we also must ensure we care for ourselves mentally, physically, emotionally in these difficult times. Our lives have changed, and we must encourage and support each other, working together at local, national and international levels. It is the times like these we value our colleagues who step up and show us their strength in leading the way.<\/p>\n

We have collected a number of useful websites for reference, please see below<\/p>\n

Each may differ slightly, but the principles remain the same: social distancing, appropriate personal protective equipment based on the risk assessment, restricted visiting of hospitalised patients. We will continue to update as information comes through.<\/p>\n

We acknowledge for many of you Personal Protective Equipment is an issue with some countries experiencing shortages and having to adapt and prioritise. This should be escalated within your organisation, if it is not possible to resolve then, please escalate further.<\/p>\n

The ESGENA board send you our best wishes, and will continue to support you. Stay safe! We can beat COVID-19 together as a community of health care teams.<\/p>\n
