Accreditation of Endoscopy Unit – a benefit for patients and staff

For more than 30 years, national and international accreditation systems have been implemented with the aim of improving patient experience, treatment and safety.

Accreditation systems are used internationally to assess the quality of care and ensure patient safety. Positive effects of accreditation systems on structural and process quality (e.g. patient care, quality assurance) have been proven several times.
